What services do you offer?

We are a full-service landscaping company that designs, installs, and maintains outdoor spaces for both homes and businesses. Our team often starts the design process with a visual rendering of your property. After a design has been approved, we move into the installation phase of your project. We’ll install plants and hardscapes to complement your existing landscape and create a space you enjoy. Finally, once your beautiful new landscape is complete, we maintain it to keep it thriving.

Where are you based?

Earthscapes is located in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

What is your design and build process?

Initial Consultation: You will meet with our designer onsite to review your project. We will offer expertise in planning your project and will work with you to determine your scope of work and set a timetable for design completion.

Plan Review and Presentation:  Upon completion of the design, our designer will present your “to scale” landscape plan with a detailed proposal of the project’s scope and value.  We will clearly communicate the installation process and timeline.

Meet the Production Team: Once the proposal has been finalized and approved, you will be introduced to your project manager.  Both the designer and project manager will attend the “kick-off” meeting to answer any questions you may have.

Begin Installation: Our crew will arrive on a scheduled date and will begin your project. We will keep your property organized and clean and we will conduct ourselves in a professional manner. Your project manager will communicate with you every step of the way and will keep you informed of any activities, concerns or changes if they arise.

Project Completion:  Our project manager will meet with you at the end of your project to perform a post construction walkthrough to ensure we have addressed any questions or concerns you may have.  We will provide you with written instructions for the care of your new landscape and we will remain available to you after your project is complete.

Can you do commercial landscaping?

Yes, we provide commercial landscaping for companies of all sizes.

Can you help maintain our landscaping after installation?

Yes, our team can maintain your property after installation. Regular landscaping maintenance is always recommended and helps protect your investment to add value to your home for years to come. We offer maintenance services ranging from lawn mowing, weed control, leaf removal, mulching, and much more.

When is the best time of year for landscape installation?

We install hardscapes and plants all year long and have been doing so since 2005. Unlike many climates, Chattanooga doesn’t have extreme winters, meaning the ground is workable throughout the year. Many plants prefer to be planted and transplanted while they are dormant. Spring, fall, and winter are the ideal times to plant. Irrigation makes summer planting more manageable, too.

What services do you offer during winter months?

We are a full-service landscaping company, even during the winter months. While your plants are sleeping, many diseases and bad insects overwinter in leaves and dead plant material. Our maintenance practices and dormant treatments are crucial to prepare your landscape for the coming spring and summer. Our team often uses wintertime to install hardscapes from patios to retaining walls. In Tennessee, evergreens, trees, most dormant perennials and bulbs are planted in the winter months.

How long is the design process?

After we meet with you to understand the flow of your landscape, we’ll get started on a design rendering. Our design plan gives customers a way to see their property on a scaled map before we start digging. Designing a blueprint of your home or business generally takes 2-3 weeks depending on the size and complexity of the site.

How much does landscaping cost?

A lot of factors play into the cost of landscaping — especially the size and scope of the project. When you meet with one of our design experts, we will discuss budget options. Knowing your budget ahead of time will give the team an opportunity to create a plan that is the most cost-effective for you.
